The Victor BRA Rental Lottery

We will be conducting a Boston Redevelopment Authority Affordable (BRA) affordable housing rental lottery for 10 luxury apartments located at The Victor - 110 Beverly Street, West End 02114.

Minimum Income:

Please note the minimum income requirements do apply.  Minimum income requirements do not apply to applicants with Section 8 vouchers.

 
Asset Limit: $75,000 -  Does not include retirement accounts, does include real estate sold within 2 years.
 
 
 
Lottery Process:
 
  1. Applications will be made available for 2 week period.  Applications will be made available by email, in person on site during the scheduled distribution times, or by mail.

  2. Applicants must fill out the BRA application completely and mail back to our offices.   Applicants will then automatically be entered into the lottery.

  3. Maloney Properties will then conduct a lottery and each applicant will be assigned a lottery number (lottery #1 being first).

  4. We will then show the available apartments based on the lottery number and preferences.

 
The lottery preferences in order:
 
1. Handicap Accessible Units and Hearing Impaired Unit:  There will be a preference disabled household for the handicap accessible units and for hearing impaired households for the hearing impaired unit.
 
2. Boston Residents:  Boston resident shall mean any individual whose principal residence, where he or she permanently and normally eats, sleeps and maintains his or her normal personal and household effects, is in the City of Boston. Required Documentation: A minimum of two (2) utility bills from separate companies dated within 60 days of application from electric, oil cable gas or telephone. Additional documentation may be required.
 
3. Minimum Household Size of at least one person per bedroom:  Applicants with 2 or more household members will receive preference for the 2 bedroom apartment.

 

Expected move-ins:

February 2014  - March 2014

Lease terms:

12 months

Due at lease signing:

1st month and $1,000 security deposit

Parking:

$400 per month - garage
$600 per month - tandem garage

Pets:

Cats and dogs, 2 per apartment, 35 lb maximum weight limit, breed restrictions, $500 pet deposit per pet, $55 pet fee per month.
